FAQs

Here are the answers to some common questions about coaching.........

What is coaching?

The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as:

"Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

Coaching is a client-driven process.

The coach’s responsibility is to:

  • Discover, clarify and align with what the client wants to achieve

  • Encourage client self-discovery

  • Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies

  • Hold the client responsible and accountable

The coaching process helps clients improve their outlook on work and life, while improving their leadership skills and unlocking their potential".

Is coaching right for me?

Are you ready to "get unstuck" and make significant positive change in your work and/or life?

Coaching can be a powerful experience, life changing for some! The coaching relationship is built on a foundation of trust, rapport and confidentiality. This is essential for safe exploration of new possibilities, innovation and personal growth. But achieving growth requires tension - so coaching will challenge your limiting beliefs and thus can feel a little uncomfortable at times. This is a good thing!

We follow the International Coach Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics.
